[SOLVED] best way to cite a Wikipedia webpage

Post by BastienBastien »

Hello Dears,
Do you know what is the best way to cite a Wikipedia webpage ?
I do it like that:

ZOTERO -> Webpage
and I set
author = Wikipedia
URL=https://blablabla

Do you think this is the best ay?
Or do you think this is an ugly workaround?

Wikipedia even provides BibTeX entries for each wiki page.

Though i would argue, that a website cannot be the author of something.
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

Yes, Wikipedia is not the author of a "normal" Wikipedia page, except their own technical and corporation / foundation pages. It's the publishing platform for lots of authors that should be credited.
