General ⇒ no graphics in the ouput but no erros while compiling

Hello,

i'm new and not sure if this is the right section for my request.

I'm using debian with a minimal installation + kile + texlive-full.

When i compile my .tex 2 .dvi 2 .ps or .pdf i get no error or warning but there are no pictures in the pdf or ps files.
I*ve tried different format: .ps .jpg .png .pdf
I don't know what is wrong. The tex file is correctly compiled and the graphics are shown in the pdf or ps output when i use ubuntu 8.04 + kile + texlive-full.

Please help me. I dont know what is missing or wrong.


is use the follwoing commands and packages for graphics:

\usepackage{epsfig}

\includegraphics[width=\textwidth]{/home/xxx/test.ps}

\end{figure}

Apart from some minor issues I can't see any fault in the code. You should omit the the epsfig package because it is obsolete. Its job is done by graphicx, which you are already loading. Supplement your code as follows and start a new run.
