Including pictures in Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format

Post by JoKo »

Hi,

Is it possible to include SVG images immediately to my tex file?

So far, I am converting those to png files and then include them.

Hi JoKo,

the SVG format is not supported by pdflatex/latex. I recommend to convert those files into pdf format instead of png, because png is raster image format, you can also include pdf images by \includegraphics.
There should be some free software you could use for the conversion, like GIMP or Inkscape.

Thanks for the tip, I was using InkScape for the conversion, from now on I'll just convert them to pdf instead of png.
