when I search some references on DBLP, I find it take intensively use of cross reference, especially when related to inproceedings. Take the following as an example:
@inproceedings{DBLP:conf/fase/ReggioCA01,
author = {Gianna Reggio and
Maura Cerioli and
Egidio Astesiano},
title = {Towards a Rigorous Semantics of UML Supporting Its Multiview
Approach},
booktitle = {FASE},
year = {2001},
pages = {171-186},
ee = {http://link.springer.de/link/service/se ... 290171.htm},
[flash=] crossref = {DBLP:conf/fase/2001},[/flash]
bibsource = {DBLP, http://dblp.uni-trier.de}
}
@proceedings{DBLP:conf/fase/2001,
editor = {Heinrich Hu{\ss}mann},
title = {Fundamental Approaches to Software Engineering, 4th International
Conference, FASE 2001 Held as Part of the Joint European
Conferences on Theory and Practice of Software, ETAPS 2001
Genova, Italy, April 2-6, 2001, Proceedings},
booktitle = {FASE},
publisher = {Springer},
series = {Lecture Notes in Computer Science},
volume = {2029},
year = {2001},
isbn = {3-540-41863-6},
bibsource = {DBLP, http://dblp.uni-trier.de}
}
I have the following questions:
1) Can cross references function well in miktex?
2) In what situation should we use cross reference?
If you like to say more about cross reference, of cource you are welcome. In addition, you are highly appreciated. Thanks.
