Equation numbering in appendix
Found solution to the problem I had. Now I am posed with another problem. That is, when we label equations in Main Section and Appendix, how to differentiate? and keep track of? e.g I have an equation \ref{eq:1} defined in Sec 1. And I have an equation \ref{eq:1} defined in Appendix A. When referencing the equation later in the text, i get an error that eq:1 multiple times defined.
Moreover, I may have to add another equation in between existing equations in the Main Sections, which will force me to change equation numbering in Appendix every time the equations in Main text change?
Sorry for being verbose, trying to bring out my problem clearly.

Equation numbering in appendix
You should not label your equations by numbers, but use a descriptive label like archimedes or einstein, or viscosityVacuum, or pressure1500K.
