I am using pdflatex to generate my Latex documents and the graphicx package to include figures generated elsewhere
(ex. by PGF/pdflatex). Taking the pdf file version of the figure by, say, the Snipping Tool to a .PNG file seems to detoriate the quality of the figure.
If this is the case, any better solution to keep the quality of the figure?

Include the pdf file directly, instead of converting to PNG. PDF is supported by
