Combining references with a and b

Post by claire_a »

Hello,

I have two references which are Blogs et al., 2010a and Blogs et al., 2010b. When I cite these I would like them to be written Blogs et al., 2010a,b. Is this possible? If so how?

I'm not a confident user of Latex, I think I am using biber for my references. They are linked to my Mendeley account.

Thanks for you help :)

Recommended reading 2024:

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

Combining references with a and b

Welcome, it is very important for us to know your exact setup for the references. Please post a minimal working example for us to reproduce your exact setup.
I am also not really sure what exacty the final result is supposed to look like, but that will probably be answered by a proper example.
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
