Hey there!
I'm about to append a huge amount of data to my document; that is forty pages of narrow tables aome of which are longer than one page. I do not want those tables to fill that many pages looking ugly, because the right half of those pages is empty, so I decided that two columns would look better and my problems started... neither the longtable nor the supertabular environment support the multicols environment. The twoside command works with supertabular, but with this solution the rest of the page with my section title is empty and the tables start not before the top of the next page, because it is not be incorporated into the twosidepages.
Any expert around who can solve my problem? Thanks!

Long tables in two columns
A suitable solution has already been given in another forum [1]. We would appreciate when you mention such crosspostings.
