LyX ⇒ text in bold when printing pdf pages containing pictures

Hello everyone,
i have seen that this is a known problem, but no suggested solution so far has fixed the problem for me. In pages containing pictures the text (or some lines of the text) appear to be bold when they are printed, although everything looks fine when they are visualized in a pdf viewer. This weird behavior happens with images both with transparency and without it.
I tried different solutions i read in the forum, like using different PDF viewer (Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader), add

Code: Select all

\pdfpageattr {/Group << /S /Transparency /I true /CS /DeviceRGB>>}

in the latex preamble.

Is there any definitive solution that has been found to fix this problem?
I use Lyx 2.2.2

I only know this solution. Could you perhaps post a small example with that problem (code and pdf) as attachments here, both as .lyx and as pdfLaTeX export file?

i feel like you are answering 99% of my lyx questions ... and of many others in the forum.

Attached is the lyx file, the pdf file and a scan of the printed output. I did it both with and without the
\pdfpageattr {/Group << /S /Transparency /I true /CS /DeviceRGB>>}
but the output is exactly the same: pdf looks fine, printing does not.
I am not sure if it can be actually seen due to the scanner quality, but in page 2 of the scan, lines 2, 6, 9, 10 and the one before the last look like they have a "thicker" font style... I used Adobe Acrobat to print.
If I use Foxit Reader and Nitro Reader, all the text in the pages with picture appear a "bolder"

I agree that the scan looks a bit strange as you said.

However, I printed it too, and it looks fine. So I think it can be an issue of your printer driver. Can you print with another driver, another operating system, or another computer?

Really??? When I print other PDF coming from word or any other sources i never got the problem.
It is the university printer, so i cannot connect any other computer, but I will ask to someone with access to different printer/pc if they can make a try as well.
