The \par command in that MWE example isn't essential. It can be removed and it doesn't change the problem/question. I'll remove it.

WTH ! Removing the \par command in that MWE solves the issue. But still, I don't have any \par in my problematic document !

Hi Cham,

if it solves it for the minimal example, but not for your document, the minimal example is not relevant enough. Make again one from your problematic document, where removing \par doesn't solve it. You know, hacking down a copy.
