makebst, texhash and initexmf

Post by happy »

Hi,

I generated a new .bst file with makebst. According to the insturction listed in
http://www.medicalnerds.com/latex-bibli ... nd-styles/

i need to run texhash to update the Tex directory.
However, there is an error message:

This utility does not accept non-option argument initexmf

Any advice?

thanks

You certainly should type :
initexmf --update-fnbd

Coming back... I didn't notice that you're using miktex. You don't run (directly) texhash in that case, it is much simpler. Just run MiKTeX settings : you'll notice a button entitled 'Refresh FNDB' ('Drink me', would have said Alice). That's it.
