Thanks.
When I clicked on 'Use non-TeX fonts' in Document Settings
then at least I did not get error.
But in output pdf place where Hebrew text should appear is blank.
I hope it will be solved one day.
thanks again

How to insert Hebrew text?
Hi.
I have some problem with previewing my article (in dvi or pdf or anything else).
I'm writing an article and simply copy&paste an expression in Hebrew (from Word document) into my LyX article. Like this: (benei elim בְנֵי אֵלִים).
It is displayed in document editor (I use LyX 2.0) correctly, but ...

*Subsubsection - how to remove from TOC
Thanks,
for me the solution is this:
\setcounter{tocdepth}{2}
You can use 1, 2, 3, 4. (4 prints everything down to paragraph).
NOTE:
I'm not afraid of using Bing or Google, but the biggest problem for non-English natives sometimes is find the exact wording and syntax of what you actually are ...

*Subsubsection - how to remove from TOC
Hi,
I have a book. There are chapters, sections, subsections and subsubsections(*) in it.
How can I remove subsubsection* (unnumbered) from TOC (Table of Contents)?
I don't want it indexed and printed in TOC.
greetings

Re: Picture numbering
Thanks Stefan,
It works
Still I cannot get used to the idea that LyX shows something different in editor and gives different output, but it is all about - WYSIWYM - isn't it?
thanks

Picture numbering
Hi
In my LyX document I have several chapters of book.
I need to insert several dozens of pictures.
But LyX keeps changing numbering in each chapter separately using long style of numbering - for example Picture 1.1.1, Picture 2.1.1
I have tried to disable chaptering in Preamble but it still is 1.2 ...

Hi, I've found this interesting article - http://latex-my.blogspot.com/2010/02/cmyk-output-for-commercial-printing.html
I did what it says, but still my output is in RGB colorspace.
I have written a book using LyX and I need my file commercial-print ready.
What shell I do to have a ps or pdf file ...

Re: Footnote numbering
Thanks for reply. It works - but only on output file (dvi, pdf).
Within document I still have doubled and tripled and multiplied numbering.
Is this possible to change? (just asking)
PS I just discovered that this happens in Document Class (book KOMA script) and it works normally in simple article ...

Footnote numbering
How to keep Footnote numbering throughout the whole document (book).
It resets at the beginning of new chapter.
I'd like it to continue.
For example - Chapter I has five footnotes, numbered 1-5.
Chapter II has three footnoes and I'd like them to be 6, 7 and 8, but LyX (in KOMA-book) changes them to ...
