I would like to know how to make texmaker only display the file path from the "master" file. It just seems silly that it provides me with a seven mile long description about the file path. It should show the last part of it which is the useful part.

Also ...

I'm sick of defining the master file everytime I open texmaker. Is there some kind of code to let Texmaker know which texfile that is the master?

I was also wondering why you can't create a "project" with a masterfile, like in TeXnikcenter. It just seems so obvious...
