Hi,
I am using the theme of USCambridge,
when I instered table in the lyx code, there is automatic number generated, Table 1, Table 2,etc.
However when I compiled the pdf, the number disappears, so instead of Tabel 1, Table 2, it is just Table, Table?
Can anyone helps me to solve this problem?

problems on declare input text/maths
Hi,
I would like to type the relation operater succeq with a prime on the top right side, $\succeq^{\prime}$, however when I tried to compile the file, lyx says:
$\succeq^{\prime}$
You need to provide a definition with \DeclareInputText
or \DeclareInputMath before using this key.

How to change the default pdf page size
Is that Adobe Reader? (Seriously, we need to know things like what viewer you’re using if the issue is a viewing problem!)
In Adobe Reader, try something like Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Default Layout and Zoom, and choose something like "Fit Width". (At least that's the sequence for the ...

How to change the default pdf page size
Many thanks to everyone!
especially the hyperref manual!
Indeed by adding in the additional options: pdfstartview= 'option value', the problem is solved!
option value can be:
XYZ
Fit
FitH
FitV
FitR
FitB
FitBH
FitBV

How to change the default pdf page size
This might be a stupid question, but when I create the pdf output, the default size is always like 55% of the original page size, I tried to go to document->settings-->page layout to change to different options, but it's always like 55% or 58% of the original page size, how could I change it?
Thanks

How to Label below operator
Hi, thanks a lot, that indeed workstorbjorn t. wrote:You can use the \underset command in LyX as well: When in the math environment, simply type \underset and hit the space bar.
I do not know if it is available in the menu or toolbar.

How to Label below operator
I want to label below an operator say "max". I checked the maths guide, it says some operators like 'lim' and 'sum' put label below the operator by default, but in the case of "max", if I want to indicate the control variables with which the function maximizes, what should I do?
Thanks

Re: SWP under Windows 7
Thanks for your suggestion.
I used the old swp 5.5 version, need to upgrade to the 2960 version as indicated in the official website. This solves the problem.
