Thank you for your reply - it helped cleaning up duplicates in the .bib file. However the duplicates was sorted on purpose in different folders- So for anyone else using Mendeley don't have duplicate entries, it did not work for me when using Biblatex and Biber.

It's not built-in to LyX, but you can implement the functionality using pLyX:

I have tried looking at it, but are yet not good enough with Lyx to really know how to enable Plyx - but I will try and see if I can get it to ...

I am looking for a way to make Lyx auto sort a list of text alphabetically - like the way you can do it in Libreoffice by choosing Menu and Sort.

Is there a way to do this in Lyx?
