Problem with Miktex 2.8

Hi All,

I am using TexnicCenter 1.0 with a Miktex 2.8 installation on a 64 bit windows vista system. However, I am not able to build any file due to the following error:

"pdflatex.exe: gui framework cannot be initialized".

I looked for a solution online and found a remedy on the Miktex site ...
