Werid characters if I copy from the generated PDF

Hey,

my lyx software does really weird things.

If I open a new document, write hello and view the PDF, it shows a PDF with "hello". But if I copy that "Hello" from the PDF to some other software now, I get "❍❡❧❧♦". Do you have any idea what the reason for that could be?

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 and ...
