I am running Lyx 2.1.1+qt4-x86 64-cocoa on a shiny new macbook pro retina. The fonts are really blurry and after a few minutes pretty tough on the eyes. So I am just trying to confirm:
1) There currently is no workaround for this, correct? After looking around on the web I found nothing indicating ...

I too am experiencing a large scroll lag in Lyx 1.7 on both a new iMac and an older macbook, both running 10.9. I would prefer not to write my dissertation using the beta software, so is there a solution for those of us working with the stable 1.7 release? I can only guess that not a lot of people ...
