Re: Figures

Hi Muhammed, Just use the optional argument [ht] to figure . If there is still too much space between the heading and the figure, use a negative vspace to move the figure up. Also, consider the subfig package for a better alignment of multiple figures. \documentclass[a4paper,12pt]{article} \begin{do...

Use {minipage} or the subfigure, subfig or subcaption package.

See here for a code example.

Re: Right justify ToC title

You'd have to change \@tocrmarg as shown in the example below.

  1. \documentclass[11pt]{article}
  2. \usepackage{tocloft}
  3. \makeatletter
  4. \renewcommand{\@tocrmarg}{18em}
  5. \makeatother
  6. \begin{document}
  7. \tableofcontents
  8. \section{this is a really long title of a section}
  9. \end{document}

Re: Failed to find file "C\Users\..."

Just by looking at the error, I would say a path is set wrongly. Windows paths usually start with C:\...

My guess is you accidentally changed something in the editor settings, but it is really hard to know with the information you gave.

Re: No formula.sty Topic is solved

A few remarks that might help fix your problem: ⋅  You can download both packages from CTAN: formula , ulsy . ⋅  Did you try placing the sty file in your project directory? ⋅  If you install a new package , you'll have to update the source tree ⋅  To see if th...

Re: quotation

You might want to keep an extra text or tex file with the common content and load it through \input.

  1. \documentclass[11pt]{article}
  2. \usepackage{blindtext}
  3. \begin{document}
  4. \blindtext\input{common.txt}\blindtext
  5. \end{document}

Re: Change of Font Size in multi-page Table Topic is solved

Thanks for pointing out that using the environment approach to change the font size might lead to unexpected results. Just as a side note, it's generally better to use \par in order to avoid problems. \documentclass{article} \usepackage[nopar]{lipsum}% dummy text \begin{document} \lipsum[1] {\footno...

Re: How to add "exam" to document class?

Hi Joe, You have to be a bit more specific about the problem you are facing. Below is some example code taken from the exam documentation. \documentclass{exam} \begin{document} \begin{center} \fbox{\fbox{\parbox{5.5in}{\centering Answer the questions in the spaces provided on the question sheets.
