Re: Editing the Front Matter of a Thesis Shell

I was able to duplicate your problem but I could not determine the cause. I suggest you place your post on the MacKichan forum: http://forum.mackichan.com/.

Re: beamer, tikZ | Scale Mindmap to fit

Hello,

I am not sure this is the optimal solution, but I placed the tikzpicture environment in in a scalebox.

Re: eqexam | Long Solution vs. Short Solution

Hello, Don Story's eqexam package has a solution environment which can be divided into short and long solutions if desired. His fortextbook option may also help with your notes. You can find the most recent version of eqexam with manuals and examples at http://www.math.uakron.edu/~dpstory/eqexam.htm...

Re: beamer | Several Authors on Title

Hello, If two are more authors have the same address information I normally type something like author1 and author2 in the author field of Scientific Word. Otherwise, I enter a latex field similar to the one posted in this thread or the examples George gave on the MacKichan Software forum. Best, Tom

Re: Change User Name

If board rules do not restrict the number of accounts owned by an individual, I would change my email address for stupiduser to a less active one. Then I would create a new LaTeX Community account account using my regular email address. After you were positive that there is no longer activity on the...

(We had a roaming license for 25 copies.) As you correctly noted, its main pros are ease of use, the com...

Hello,

Set:
\chapter[toctitle]{text}\label{marker}

Then the command \nameref{marker} yields "text". Is there a command that yields "toctitle"?

Thanks,

Tom
