my advisor wants me to cite literature in the following manner:
- cited works should be listed as foot notes on the same page as the citation
- if the same work is cited multiple times the full info should only appear the first time (publication, year, full title, etc.) after that only the ...

i tried following the instructions posted under the link you mentioned... got stuck because the poster uses emacs and i'm using texnicenter. anybody now how to implement dviout in txc?
