I am trying to create a pdf for publication.

I am using \documentclass[a4paper,12pt,twoside]{book}

However, \sidewaystable or \sidewaysfigure are not being generated correctly when I create the .pdf.

Specifically, it is presenting as a landscape page squashed to the width of portrait ...
