As a general rule, I use the bibliography style authordate1. I like that it produces references with the Last Name, First Name format. But now I have a reference written by an organization (namely, the Human Rights Campaign). Bibtex is producing a reference that says Campaign, Human Rights ...

Try adding a comma after the year = {....} entry. In theory, that shouldn't matter, but I've had the same problem you're having and that's what fixed it for me.
