I checked the permissions of the folder and the files within the folder via right click -> getInfo. I see, that I already have read&write privileges. The problem still exist.

Regarding the log file. It is also somehow weird here. I get the message "Process exited with ...

Last year I wrote a report with texmaker on windows XP. Now, I am using Mac OS 10.6.7 (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz) and do have to write another report.

For that, I installed Texmaker on mac and loaded my last report (which was written on Windows XP with Texmaker).

Now, if I try to save anything ...
