Hi! I'm trying, without much success, to write the symbol for wavenumber in LaTeX. It's the Greek letter nu with a ~ over it. I tried "\~{\nu}", but that didn't work. I'm assuming this means nested \ aren't allowed. How do I get the character to show up... is it possible? Thanks in advance for any ...
