localghost's solution worked! If I remove the trim it stops working again, so on the problematic files I will use the trim Thank you!

One of the main reasons I have been using .eps is that I use the LeD editor and I find the "viewer" function very helpful, which I do not think works with .pdf ...

Any help appreciated as my reviewers cannot read DVIs so not converting to PDF is a HUGE problem!

I checked the b-boxes on file that are the same size/dimensions that appear ok and the ones that do not and they are the same!!! Weird very weird ... this is such a show stopper for me, as I really need these pictures intact!

By the way, the DVI file seems ok, it is the .PDF that has the problem ...

Thank you for your reply. I actually use .eps and the problem has only ocured with just 2 out of 50 pictures, which I have converted using GIMP ...

I tries running pdflatex but all my figures are in .eps so it is not running ...

Some (not all, which is weird) of my figures appear cut on the right.

this is what I use to include the figure:

Another newbie question from me ...

I have seperated the chapters of my thesis in different folders under a main folder called "THESIS".
I want to have one bibtex file under the general folder THESIS that all other chpaters (in different folders) will draw from.

What I currently do is use ...

I am relatively new to LaTex and TeXnicCenter so please forgive me.

I am using Miktex and I was wondering if you could tell me where its executables are stored since the TeXnicCenter wizard requires the location upon installation.
