Many thanks,
I'll certainly try the suggestions above, but for now I have been able to create something in the article document class using bits from pieces copied and pasted from other documents, so it looks pretty nice.
Thanks again.

Letter on A4 Paper Size

I've done my best searching this forum and the internet itself with no success.
How can I make an A4 letter?
When I use the letter document class, it always uses a size smaller than A4, and it won't let me use an A4paper command as it causes errors and won't create the document.
Also, I ...

Re: Slow Builds and PDF Output
LOL, sorry.
It's only been doing it for the one document, and I was able to trace it back to the addition of a picture.
It seems it is the picture slowing it down.

Slow Builds and PDF Output
Hi all,
For some reason or other, since yesterday, whenever I hit Ctrl{F7} to build the document, their is a good 2 seconds before it starts, then when I hit F5 to see the pdf, it takes at least 2 seconds before starting that too.
Everything else is fine, but up until yesterday everything was very ...

Solved.
Putting blank footer commands has solved it:

Hi all,
I am starting a new assignment and have tried to include a title page to my previous assignment template, but now I have an annoying page number at the bottm centre of the page, where I prefer it to be in the header (as it is).

Include Picture Without Title
Hi there,
I've discovered how to add JPEG images to my work now, the only problem is that when I include a picture, it has the files location and name above it on the pdf output document.
Is it possible to just have the picture displayed without it's name and location.
Many thanks.

Empty Body on Page but keep Header and Footer
Hi there,
I'm typing up an assignment, and page 3 requires me to print directly from another program, so I was planning on using an empty page in my LaTeX assignment to print a page with an empty body but still keep the header, footer and page numbering, then re-feed the page 3 back into the ...
