LyX ⇒ How to update LyX on windows 10?

Hi,

What's the correct way to update LyX on windows 10?

To update LyX from 2.3.0 to 2.3.1. I uninstalled LyX 2.3.0, update MikTeX, and install LyX 2.3.1.

Is it okay just to install new version of LyX without uninstalling old version of LyX?
