LyX ⇒ Issue trying to insert symbols on Math Equations

I am using El Capitan Beta with the SIP disabled, don't know if there is something to do with it.

I have never seen this on Ubuntu, but we have had several reports of this on the lyx-users mailing list. Hopefully a solution is found soon.

I have the same problem as the one showed in the video.

I tried an older version like 2.1.3 and the menus were working normally (however, I have note been able to compile any document since I got an error message about a tmp directory not being there...).

Has anybody found a solution? I am using version 2.1.4 on El Capitan 10.11.1.

This has been reported at the following bug:
