Latex chopping up figures?

Post by tafkars »

Hi there

Latex appears to 'chop off' part of the image and only include a certain percentage of the original. I am attempting to landscape this figure, but the problem also exists when I create it in portrait. I have included the \graphicsx package and the code is, I believe, correct given that I am successfully creating other figures.

Not too sure what other information I can supply, but I wonder if this a problem that others have encountered?

Thanks in advance

Hi tafkars

Have a read of this post, especially the bit about MWEs (Minimal Working Examples)

With the information you have given it is almost impossible for anybody to give help. Although having a guess, are you including the figure at it's full size? Latex will not automatically resize a picture to fit the page.

Thanks for the advice, appreciate the reply. I am aware that the information I supplied was minimal - simply an exercise in fishing in the event that I had stumbled across a common problem.

I have now solved this issue, it was more of an ill-informed user error with respect to building so please now ignore!

Cheers
