How change alignment in tabular?

I want that some columns of one part of strings has one alignment and other part other aligment.
For example
asdf |
asdf |
asdf|
asdf|
What is the the simplest way to do it?

Perhaps you mean \multicolumn? This can be used to change the alignment of a single column as well as spanning several.
