BibTeX, biblatex and biber ⇒ Replace repeated author with a dash

Hello,

I'm using a custom .bst I made through makebst. I need to replace an author that appears twice with a dash.

Example:

Lastname, N. (1999) Work, City, Publisher
------------ (2002) Work 2, City, Publisher

Do I need to add something to the .bst or the .bib file?
I read about using IEEETran, but I didn't had success. Is there a simple way to do this?
