inputting files in different folders

Post by bobbylou »

Hi:

Is there a way of referencing files in a folder different from the one I am keeping my tex file in? For example, I want to keep one large .bib file on my computer and have a number of different .tex files make use of it -- I can't figure out how to do this...

Thanks!

In this case, set the environment variable BIBINPUTS appropriately.
