error in Hebrew Lyx

Postby ShaiB » Fri Mar 16, 2018 12:18 pm

Hi,

i try to compile hebrew document with Lyx and have this error:
Font LHE/cmr/m/n/10=jerus10 at 10.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not fou

\selectlanguage{hebrew}
%
I wasn't able to read the size data for this font,
so I will ignore the font specification.
[Wizards can fix TFM files using TFtoPL/PLtoTF.]
You might try inserting a different font spec;
e.g., type `I\font<same font id>=<substitute font name>'.

How can i fix it?

thank you

Welcome to the forum!

You need to install hebrew support for your TeX installation. Do you use MiKTeX, or TeX live, and on which operating system (Windows, or Linux and which one)?

You may want to use ivritex. Or take a look at heblatex.

Hello Shaj,

install the Culmus package. Instructions are here: http://www.ma.huji.ac.il/~sameti/tex/culmusmiktex.html
