Hi,

is there a way to insert ogg files (from originlab) in LyX so you can edit this file like you can edit ogg files in powerpoint?

I'm sure that's not possible in a straightforward way.

However, you could export or convert the Originlab files to PDF files, and include them. That's still scalable with high quality. If you really need to edit it, you would need a PDF editor. Another way would be a way via SVG.

What exactly are ogg files? Stefan is very probably right that you need to convert them in order to include them in a LaTeX document (regardless of the document class…)

OGG's are diagrams from the program originlab. You have diagrams which you can export in this OGG format which you can insert into powerpoint and by double clicking on this file in powerpoint origin opens and you can edit this diagram right away. In LyX you need to convert this ogg file so it's not so comfortable like it is in powerpoint. So is there a possibility to insert an ogg file without converting?
