Into which directory should we extract the epstool zip files (Windows 10)?

welcome to the forum!

You can unzip it anywhere you like. Such as in an epstool folder in your documents directory, or to the programs folder if you like. It's a command line tool anyway. So you need to start a command line shell (terminal window, cmd), change into the folder that you chose, and run the tool as command with options. Or run the epstool with full path name, such as c:\programs\epstool ... options ...
