LyX ⇒ Neither Reset of Look & Feel, nor De-installation possible

I modified the colors under "Preferences > Look & Feel > Colors". However, I made some mistakes and now everything is really confusingly colored. I can't seem to restore to the default colors (I don't know that the "Restore" button is supposed to do, but it doesn't work). I have tried uninstalling LyX and reinstalling, but it seems to have my preferences memorized.

So:

1. How do I reset the colors to the default?
2. How do I truly uninstall LyX? (I'm using Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3. When I uninstall, I make sure that nothing from LyX is remaining in the Library and "Library > Application Support" folders, but somehow it still manages to save my information.)
