Hey guys! I'm a first-timer, so, hello everybody (from Montevideo, Uruguay).
When i'm compiling my document, the index comes up in red fonts.
Anyone knows how to change to black normal font? and why it happens?
(if it helps i'm using miktex, texnicCenter)
Thank you!!
Nicole.

Index appears in red fonts
Hi Nicole,
welcome to the LaTeX Community Forum!
Do you use the color or xcolor package? Or do you use hyperref with colorlinks/linkcolor option?
It would be easier to help if you show us your code, that means your preamble, the best would be if you show a minimal working example with that problem.

Index appears in red fonts
First of all we should clarify if we are not talking about the Table of Contents (ToC). The list I consider as an index contains keywords that are marked in the text and that appears mostly at the end of the document. For answering further questions follow the advice of Stefan.nky wrote:[...] When i'm compiling my document, the index comes up in red fonts. [...]
Best regards and welcome to the board
