LyX ⇒ LyX error at launch

Hi,

A friend recently introduced me to LyX, but I didn't manage to install it on my computer (running Windows XP SP3, with LyX version 1.6.9) : I tried both LyX installer and LyX alternate installer with all components included, but in both case, the software failed to start after installation. I got this error message, but I don't understand it :
