Spotlight effect

Post by sitex »

Hello,

I would like to have a "spotlight effect": In general, all locations of light sources and nodes and colors used are determined by the user. Everything involved in this effect should have a colored background to help make the effect more visible. There is a light source which lights a given node regardless of size; that is, the size of the oval of light determined by the spotlight is determined by the size of the node. It would be nice to be able to be able to adjust the minimum distance between the node edge and the boundary of the oval. Of course, the shape of the oval should depend on the locations of the node and the the light source. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Tom
