Page Layout ⇒ A3 page in a A4 document

For my master thesis I would like to put in some figures which should be in A3 within the A4 document. Is that possible? Can somebody explain how I can do this in an easy way?!

Make sure that the concerned figures are in PDF format on an A3 page and use the pdfpages packages to include them. Note that this only works with PDFLaTeX.
