Unfortunately my version keeps saying 2007. My problem is that Kile is unable to compile my documents. Looking back I never tried compiling a non-package dependent Anyway, I now have xp installed, on which I depend for some programs. When my deadlines are finished in a few weeks, I will switch back to ubuntu and try all of your feedback!!
