Well, I’m a copy-editor. So I get sent LaTex documents to edit. Usually, the bibliography is included in the master document. However, sometimes authors send a separate .bib file, which I need to convert to .blb and paste into the master document.
At the moment, I ask the Production Editor to create the .blb file and email it back to me. Which is a pain for all concerned!

If the document os properly set up by the author (and i assume so), you just have to press one button in your text editor. Which one are you using?
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
