Please open up a new topic and describe your problem properly.

The reason your code does not compile (i think your problem description meant that) might be some invalid code. You can find it by hacking down your document to a compilable minimal woring example and show us the result.

Did you save your file properly? You might need to give the extension .tex explicitely.
