SIGSEGV signal caught

Post by Ahmed_Salah437 »

I've had the same error when I made a -failure- attempt to change the language in LyX to Arabic
I went to Tools -> preferences -> Language settings
I changed the language package to custom and I typed a start command different from the default
Anyway, check that the language package is the right package you want to use, usually babel or maybe polyglossia
and check the start command, its default is:

Code: Select all

\selectlanguage{$$lang}

SIGSEGV signal caught

Changing settings should never result in SIGSEGV, but at most in an error message. So you should report a bug. OpenSource lives from user reports. No report → no improvement.
My main topics are KOMA-Script and other questions related to my packages. If I reply to any other topic or if you've not yet added a minimal working example, please do not expect any further response. And please don't forget to tag examples as code.
