Langmuir style article with Lyx

Post by mkbh10 »

I have ACS document class installed for Lyx. I want the output from Lyx to be in
Langmuir style which is a dual column one. When I select the two column layout, most of the images and text gets messed up. The position of the images and text is not proper.

How to get my article in proper format ?

The affiliations also do not show up proper like it does not link an author to the university or links to the wrong university.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Hi!

Perhaps post your .lyx document here, as attachment. And additionally as LaTeX export (since I don't have LyX on all my computers, and another LaTeX friend may help too).

I simply don't have a langmuir style code here.

Just post your code sample, so it may be easier to test and to help.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your response.

I have installed the achemso package using MikTex and I select document class ACS but I do not know how to get the desired output as required by Langmuir.

It's an unpublished research article so it is difficult to share on open platform.

Sure, no need to post the original content. Dummy text is fine in such cases. I just don't see what it means, to get messed up.

The blindtext package is good for this.

The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
