LyX ⇒ Dot behind chapter and section numbering

Hi!

I am using the KOMA-Script Report class. Unfortunately, there is always a dot behind the last number (take a look at the attachments).

Using Latex, the documentclass can easily be configured in the preamble. Is there any possibility to change the numbering in the LyX preamble?

welcome to the forum!

The option numbers=noendperiod should give the desired result. In LyX you can set such options too. However, notice that there's a DUDEN rule requiring a dot behind chapter numbers if you have sections or chapters numbered with letters, such as in the appendix.
