I am writing a thesis which has bibliographic entries in multiple languages (specifically scripts) e.g. Russian (Cyrillic), Turkish, Romanian. I seem not to have set up my document properly as when I attempt to compile, I receive the following error:
Package babel Error: You haven't specified a language option.
How do I go about sorting this out? Is it something that can be universally addressed or do I need to do something before each citation.
Thank you in advance for your help with this!

Multiple Languages (i.e. non-Latin scripts)
The error message implies that you don't have defined any language to be used in the document. You can add
Your best bet when dealing with different languages and scripts are XeLaTeX and LuaLateX, taking into account the bibliography stuff, biblatex and biber are the way to go. That combination should set you on track.

The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
