Hi Nooha,
welcome to the forum!
It sounds, like the file is damaged, sadly. You can get the code back if you made a backup. Always make copies from time to time.
If you are lucky, your LaTeX editor made a backup. Look at all files in the directory, if there's a .bak file or something which looks like a copy made by the editor.
