Problems with writing in two columns

Post by templateuser »

I have some problems when I'm writing in columns.
Sometimes when I use \section and after some figures, the 2 columns will stop, then start again further down the page instead of down in the left column and then to the right - kind of hard to explain.

I've taken 2 screen shots.

What I want is the columns to continue from top left, to down left, to top right and to down right all the way.

How do I do this?

Thanks!

Hey,

Hmm, that's an interesting problem. Do you think you could provide your tex file where this behavior happens for me to play around with? I imagine the problem is caused by some package incompatibility or interaction. Have a look to see whether this can help you: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/ ... ght-column
